About us

Chores 4 You is a domestic cleaning, ironing and shopping service  run by Disability Direct,  a charitable organisation who support disabled people, older people, those with long term health conditions, carers  and families  in Derby & Derbyshire.   We are a service user led group, and have supported over 40,000 disabled people since 1993. 

Our 17 years experience has given us a great understanding of the needs of our service users and  Chores 4 You  has been developed to provide the extra support that helps disabled and older  people to live independently. You do not need to be a disabled person to use Chores 4 You, the service is available to anyone who lives in Derby.

Disability Direct is a charity and relies upon grants and donations to continue providing valuable free services to people throughout Derby and Derbyshire.  Chores for You is a social enterprise so all the money made from this service is put straight back into Disability Direct.  In effect, every time someone uses Chores 4You or Shop 4 You, they are donating to charity.
